既にその母を得れば、

以てその子を知る。

Once you know her children,

既にその子を知りて、

Return to and maintain their mother.

復たその母を守る。

When the self disappears, there can be no danger.

身を没するまで殆うからず。

Block your senses, close your gateway –

その兌を塞ぎ、その門を閉ずれば、

All your life you will not struggle.

終身勤めず。

Open your senses, be successful in your duties –

その兌を開き、その事を済さば、

All your life you will not have relief.

終身救われず。

Seeing the insignificant speaks of insight.

小を見るを明と曰い、

Maintaining softness speaks of strength.

柔を守るを強と曰う。

Use your brightness to return to your insight.

その光を用いてその明に復帰すれば、

Do not lose your self in misfortune.

身に殃いを遺さず。

This is called practicing the ever-constant.

これを常を襲うと謂う。
