第五十六章
EN
He who knows does not speak;
JA
知る者は言わず、
EN
He who speaks does not know.
JA
言う者は知らず。
EN
Block your senses, close your gateway.
JA
その兌を塞ぎ、その門を閉じ、
EN
Blunt your sharpness,
JA
その鋭を挫き、
EN
Loosen your tangles,
JA
その紛を解き、
EN
Soften your brightness,
JA
その光を和らげ、
EN
Be the same as the dust of the world.
JA
その塵に同ず。
EN
This is called a deep and mysterious sameness.
JA
これを玄同と謂う。
EN
Therefore : you can not gain it and be friendly,
JA
故にこれを得て親しむべからず、
EN
Can not gain it and be unfriendly,
JA
これを得て疎んずべからず、
EN
Can not gain it and benefit,
JA
これを得て利すべからず、
EN
Can not gain it and cause harm,
JA
これを得て害すべからず、
EN
Can not gain it and have high rank,
JA
これを得て貴ぶべからず、
EN
Can not gain it and be lowly.
JA
これを得て賤しむべからず。
EN
Therefore you become valuable to the world.
JA
故に天下の貴となる。
