第六十章
EN
Governing a great nation is like cooking a small fish.
JA
大国を治むるは小鮮を烹るがごとし。
EN
Because Dao is present in the world,
JA
道を以て天下に莅めば、
EN
Its ghosts do not have spirit.
JA
その鬼も神ならず。
EN
Not that its ghosts do not have any spirit,
JA
その鬼の神ならざるにあらず、
EN
But their spirit does not injure people.
JA
その神も人を傷つけず。
EN
Not only does their spirit not injure people,
JA
その神の人を傷つけざるのみならず、
EN
The sage also does not injure people.
JA
聖人もまた人を傷つけず。
EN
Now : since these two do not injure each other,
JA
それ両者も相い傷つけず、
EN
Therefore their De merges and returns!
JA
故に徳は交々帰す。
